Sober Sisters Recovery is truly a grassroots organization, built upon hundreds of hours of hard work and the incredible love and dedication of our community.
In July of 2015, while still in the process of making Sober Sisters Recovery a reality, cofounder Moné Cassier trained for and ran the Bear Brook Trail Half Marathon to raise seed money for funds to open Sober Sisters Recovery.
The early days of Sober Sisters were both inspirational and humbling. We were inspired to go the extra mile to make this dream a reality, and we were so humbled by the outpouring of people who showed up to join in and support our mission.
