Lisa Marie Johnson

In Memoriam: Lisa Marie Johnson

In November of 2022, we lost Board Member Lisa Marie Johnson to cancer. She was a great friend, one of the original supporters of Sober Sisters Recovery. Below is a message from Lisa’s friend and Executive Director, Moné Cassier:

Lisa’s dreamcatcher hangs in the quiet healing room at Malley Farm.On behalf of myself, the Board of Directors and the whole recovery community, we would like to honor Lisa Marie Johnson. Lisa served the Malley Farm mission in a masterly fashion since 2015. She joined our Board of Directors in 2020. Lisa, one of our pioneers, not only assisted in the clean-out and upkeep of Malley Farm, but also served all the women that resided and recreated their lives here right up until her untimely death.

Lisa, we know you are watching us here at “The Farm,” and keeping us all on point. We are blessed by knowing you. Thank you Lisa! xo #watchingforsigns
