Qi-Gong & Sound Bowl Healing

Joey and Leah are residents of Plum Island, Massachusetts and both are dedicated energy healers, wellness advocates, and trusted board members for Malley Farm for Women.

Leah Lynch is a certified yoga instructor and wellness advocate and is certified in Reiki, integrated energy therapy, and shamanic healing. Joey Macoul studied under David Coon of Qigong Awareness and has his Qi Gong instructors 50 Certification.

Infusing each session with the vibration of love, Joey and Leah have a unique approach to healing and personify a yin yang balance. Combining their experience in Reiki, Qigong, Integrated Energy Therapy, Yogic training and Shamanism each session they offer is a new and exciting mix of gentle movement breath work and sound.

Beth Guerrera

Beth and a friend riding the coast of IrelandBeth Guerrera has worked as an administrator in higher education for fifteen years. She has a background in theater, improv, sketch comedy, and music. Beth also has a background in fitness and nutrition, including competitive bodybuilding. Beth is an avid traveler and has lived, bicycled, and studied theater and storytelling in Ireland, Scotland, and England. She has also backpacked Austria, France and the Netherlands!

Beth works a program of recovery through holistic practices as a family member of someone with a Substance use Disorder. She met our Executive Director Moné Cassier while working in the field of recovery years ago. The two formed a kinship based on their shared love of cycling, organic farming and recovery. Beth is a student of the healing arts and is a Reiki Master.

Mandy hiking in New HampshireMandy joined the Malley Farm for Women Team in the Fall of 2023 and has been instrumental in the transition and success of the mission. Mandy is an alumni of Sober Sisters Recovery living with 4+ years of experience in recovery.

Mandy values a holistic approach to health and wellness and embodies that spirit in her daily life. She works in the home healthcare field and is a student of nursing. In her free time, she and her long-term partner David enjoy adventures of travel and hiking!

Sammy

Samantha Merritt

Sam the gardener!Samantha Merritt joined the Malley Farm team in October of 2019. Samantha is an alumnus of Sober Sisters Recovery and a huge support to the Executive Director. Samantha has a bachelors degree and over 10 years of experience working in the field of disability insurance, advocating for individuals in pursuit of disability benefits. Samantha currently works for a top insurance company where she manages employer-sponsored disability claims.

With over six years of living recovery, Sam has a strong passion for helping women thrive by bringing her message of hope and recovery into jails and treatment centers.

“Sammy D” is now married, a homeowner, pregnant with her first child and the loving mother of two rescue pups. In her spare time she raises chicken and gardens.

Melissa Merritt joined the Malley Farm team in 2019, and she is an alumnus of Sober Sisters Recovery with over seven years living in recovery.

Mel selling her baked goods at the farmers marketMelissa is very caring and has a huge heart. She takes pride in being part of our mission and feels that SSR truly saved her life. By serving on the Malley Farm for Women team, Melissa is generously giving back what she feels was so freely given to her.

Melissa's other passion is baking! She currently works in the Pulmonary Department at Wentworth Douglas Hospital. She is happily married with a baby on the way, the mother of two rescue pups, and a homeowner.

Violet is Malley Farm's visiting compassion dog.

Her parents, David and Karen Della Penta of the David T. and Karen Della Penta Charitable Foundation have been a huge support to Sober Sisters Recovery and now Malley Farm for Women. David and Karen believed in the mission while it was still just a dream, and they continue to champion our cause today!
